Ben's Projects
Since Ben left Evanescence, he has been working non-stop on an array
of musical and entertainment projects. He has also been out and about
making sure his face is still seen. Some of his projects and adventures
include:
- Recording a song and music
video called Everything
Burns, which is a
duet featuring Anastacia. The song will be on the Fantastic
Four Soundtrack sponsored by Wind-up Records. The soundtrack is
due to be released July 5, 2005.
- Completed writing for a solo record. No release date or any other
information is known at the present time.
- Playing guitar on the song Forever In Our
Hearts, the song for
Tsunami Relief, written by Jason Miller and produced by Jay Baumgardner.
Ben also appears in the video for the song, which can be seen here.
- Playing lead guitar on The Wicker Man,
a song that will be included on an All-Star Tribute to Iron Maiden. The CD
was produced by Bob Kulick, and vocals for the song will be performed by
Jason Miller of Godhead. There is no release information known as of yet.
- Worked alongside David
Hodges and Kelly Clarkson on three songs, two of which (Because Of
You, Addicted)
made Kelly's sophomore album, Breakaway,
which
released November 30, 2004.
- Made a cameo appearance in Drowning Pool's video, "Step Up".

- Worked on writing three songs with Avril Lavigne, one of
which (Nobody's
Home) becme a single from Avril's album, Under My
Skin, which released May 25, 2004.
- Has been doing production work with Dave Fortman (The producer for
Fallen) for the The Blank
Theory's next album.
- Collaborated on a song called The End Has
Come with Jason Miller (Godhead), Jason Jones (Drowning Pool), &
Lance Garvin (Living Sacrafice drummer) for The Punisher
soundtrack which released March 23, 2004.
- Worked on a song called Fight
The Power for the Resident Evil:
Apocalypse soundtrack, however, the song was not included on the
soundtrack.
- Helped to screen The Passion Of The Christ with Mel Gibson,
and along with fellow Ex-Evanescence member David Hodges created a
song called "Only Human, Only God" for the Music Inspired By soundtrack, which unfortunately was not included on the soundtrack.
- Along with Zack Ward has begun a movie production company,
Makeshift
Productions, which will release their first feature film; a horror
movie tentatively titled Zombies Ate My Mom to be released in 2005.
- Attended the 2004 Grammys where Evanescence won awards for Best Hard Rock
Performance and Best New Artist.
